便秘薬で便秘解消できるか？

便秘薬について少々。

日本には本当に多くの便秘薬がありますね。。。

【いわゆる便秘薬とは？】

ビサコジル、ピコスルファートナトリウム、センナ、センノシド、
炭酸マグネシウム等が主成分の便秘薬が市販されています

症状が軽い場合は、便のかさを増やしやわらかくして出やすくする目的で、
プランタゴ・オバタ（オオバコ）種子等の食物繊維系の医薬部外品が
用いられることがあります。

便秘薬は便秘を治療する薬ではなく滞留便を薬剤の効果により
一時的に排泄することで症状を改善する薬です

また、元々人間にある排便反射機能は、これら便秘薬の連用により徐々に低下し、
長期的には便秘がますます悪化する可能性もあるそうです。


故に、便秘薬で根本的な便秘を解消することは出来ないし、
便秘薬に頼りすぎた便秘解消は身体にも負担を掛けてしまうんですね。


私は、どうしようもない不快感を解消するために、

ほぼ毎日は便秘薬に頼った毎日を送っていましたが、
その結果どんどん便秘はひどくなっていったのも頷けますね。（別記事参照）
